Dear Thought,
I am stronger than you! I bring unique characteristics to this world for simply being who I am. I would be missed if I followed through with your plan. It is difficult for me to see now, but deep down I know that I am LOVED. I am an important asset to this world and I have touched more individuals then I realize. I am a beloved child of God and through the blood of Christ you have absolutely no power over me! I have no doubt that the Lord will use this time of suffering and heartache for His glory. Someday I will be able to use this experience as an opportunity to minister to others.
YOU ARE SIMPLY A THOUGHT PASSING THROUGH MY HEAD.
I will not act upon you for I know that ending my life eliminates the mere chances of it becoming any better. Committing suicide has a ripple effect upon those who love me; my story will be used to inspire others within the future. Yeshua (means to rescue/deliver) took the burden of darkness upon his back, so because of this, I do not have to carry my struggles from this world on my own. My heavenly Father cares for me deeply. I know that I do not need to carry my struggles on my own. Whatever God may have planned for my future, I know that it will be able to look back upon this dark night and be grateful that I did not act upon you. Your little idea is a tool used by the enemy to try to destroy myself and the possibility of my testimony expanding for the greater good. I am not weak for the fact that you entered into my thought process, for I am strong for being able to refute the negativity and the lies.
Dear Suicide,
You are only an insignificant thought going through my mind. Because you chose to come and visit me you have only made me stronger while reminding me of my self-worth. Even though, I wish you did not come and visit me.You have come, you have left and I have not harmed myself and I feel safe. I am an over-comer through Christ.
“for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” – 1 John 5:4-5
Amen!
